Today we look at some insights from The International Association of Corporate Entertainment Producers into the impact live entertainment has on the strategic success of corporate events, conventions, and conferences:
From a previous version of the IACEP’s website (this no longer seems to appear on their current site, but I think it is worthy of still being out there):
“Corporations invest in meetings in pursuit of very specific business purpose. Whether they are gathering employees or customers, corporations expect their investment to yield tangible business results.
“Entertainment turbo-charges that investment. Pulling people away from their desks to go to a meeting only guarantees the person’s physical presence in the room. Entertainment accelerates the process of getting employees detached from their day-to-day routine, fully engaged in the moment, and connecting with each other and to the company’s message. The bottom line: entertainment increases impact.”
