The first two days of tour have been travel and getting acquainted with a great team of colleagues. I’m here with Christian and Katalina, a hilarious mind reading duo based in Indianapolis, and The Cardshark: Jason Michaels, an expert at sleight-of-hand and scams with playing cards based in Nashville, Tennessee. As we prepare for our first show together tonight (at Clear Air Force Station in Fairbanks) it has been two days of great camaraderie and 5,200 miles of travel. Here is a brief look at the past two days.

Long flights mean finding creative ways to pass the time. Here’s some magic themed Origami at 30,000 feet.

We stopped at the original Starbucks at 1912 Pike Place, watched the Fishmongers playing catch over the heads of the crowd at Pike Place Market and then settled in for a great meal at Purple Cafe and Wine Bar in Seattle.

Purple’s spectacular ceilings and iron decor were a great backdrop for some amazing stories from the Navy Lieutenant and helicopter pilot accompanying us on tour.

2,200 miles later I had to grab a pic with this furry fellow at the Fairbanks airport.

The view outside my hotel room at Fort Wainwright. 10pm local time.

Touring Alaska, Greenland, Honduras, and the Bahamas; our mission is to bring moments of laughter and amazement to the extraordinary men and women serving the United States.
On the blog you’ll find a sporadically updated journal of my experience. If you’re stationed on one of our tour stops we can’t wait to meet you.
