Scot Nery’s Boobie Trap, chosen by the Los Angeles Times as “The Best Variety Show in LA,” has a simple premise: entertainers have just four minutes to absolutely astound the audience, if they go over time the stage erupts in absolute chaos with the triggering of “The Boobie Trap.”

I had previously seen and heard a bit of buzz on social media from friends about the unconventional, high octane variety show and participating that night I saw it exceed my very high expectations. The show prides itself on strong contrasts in energy, performing discipline, and texture.
